Jamaal Lawson

Hi, I’m Coach Jamaal Lawson.

I started boxing at the age of 7 and completed my amateur career in 2004. In 2013, I returned to the sport and went undefeated as a professional before a torn ACL and meniscus injury ended my career and led me to my true passion, coaching.

Since then, I have developed a system that has produced Golden Gloves regional and state champions, along with nationally ranked Junior Olympic and Senior Olympic fighters.

Lewisville Boxing Team was founded in 1986 by my father and trainer, Coach John “The Lawman” Lawson Sr. Although he passed away on October 19, 2020, his legacy and teachings continue to inspire everything we do.

My mission is to provide a safe, fun, educational, and hard working environment where athletes of all skill levels can grow. Whether you are training to compete, get in shape, or build confidence, we are here to help you reach your goals.
